no, this is not right. sorry jess. a man should talk to the girl on the phone for many reasons…
1) to practice getting good at phone conversations.
2) to get over his fear of calling a girl back.
and
3) to create rapport with her so she is more comfortable seeing him again on a date.
-the man should NEVER, i repeat never, let the girl dominate the phone conversation. he must display dominance and lead the girl through a fun conversation. if the girl leads she will loose attraction for him.
The longer you talk to a girl on the phone you dont rally know the more likely you are the put your foot in it.
When i first meet a girl in a club or a bar and get her number i text her first. Then when i phone her its just place and time. Once you know her its different.

When you talk too long on the phone to someone you dont know how can you tell what their genuine reactions are since you cannot see their face? Keep it short and sweet and then when you see her then talk. Best method.
If you talk too long to a woman you dont know on the phone when you actually meet her there might be nothing new to say.
right, thats why there are skills to develope. 1) talking in person, and 2) reading tonality like body language. each calibrates through practice.
i’m not sure if either side should dominate, i mean if you really like her or hime wouldn’t hearing their voice be enough. at that’s how i feel when i talk to mine. i don’t think there’s any method to it, you just have to genuinely like the person on the phone and everything else will fall into place.

Well she’s right about one thing–I really dislike talking on the phone. It’s not that I’m unskilled at it, but it’s more because, like she said, girls can talk forever.
